In the good old summertime………………..a time for vacations, time for family reunions, time for high school class reunions and then time to enjoy the warm (I really mean hot) weather after a cold nasty winter.  One of the great things we enjoy is the celebration of Independence Day, a day to celebrate our Freedom.  Too many people call it the 4th of July and think of the day as a day to view fireworks.

Just a few weeks before Independence Day another important day was observed.  The day is known an Flag Day, the 14th of June.  This banner known as the symbol of our Nation, was born out of an intensive love of Freedom based on a belief in God and the dignity of the individuals.  The United States Flag is 233 years of age and we must admit that it has seen and been through a lot in its life

time.

May you have a wonderful summer.
